  1. Valid Driver's License: A valid U.S. license is required for all drivers. International renters must show a passport and international driving permit if their license isn't in English.

  2. Proof of Insurance: Full coverage auto insurance that transfers to the rental is required. You'll provide proof at booking or pickup. No personal coverage? On-demand rental insurance may be available.

  3. $250 Authorization Hold: A $250 authorization hold is placed on your payment card at the start of your rental — this is not a charge. The hold covers potential damages, cleaning, tolls, or tickets and is automatically released upon return. By renting with us, you consent to receive transactional emails and SMS messages related to your hold and rental updates. These are operational communications required to complete your reservation, not marketing.

Payment & Booking Policies:

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx) via secure Stripe processing. Need flexibility? Buy Now, Pay Later options like Klarna and Afterpay are also supported. Rentals must be paid in full or approved before pickup.

  • Booking Confirmation: After payment, you will receive an email with a link to place your $250 authorization hold. This email is sent manually and may take up to 12 hours to arrive — check your spam or promotions folder if you don't see it. Your booking is not confirmed until you click the link and place the hold. You must do so within 24 hours of receiving the email or your reservation may be cancelled.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancel free up to 48 hours before your pickup time. Within 48 hours, a late cancellation fee (typically one day's rental) may apply. No-shows may forfeit the authorization hold. To modify or cancel, contact us 24/7 by call or text.
